With a Basilica fully decorated for the village feast of the Nativity of Our Lady, Daniela Sultana and Richard Grech joined in matrimony. The groom, is a close collaborator of SCJ.
The Bride was welcomed in church by ‘L-Għanja tal-Għanjiet’, a composition of Christopher Muscat. The duet was performed by Marouska Attard (Soprano) and Albert Buttigieg (Bass). During this introit piece, soloists, Schola Cantorum Jubilate and the Jubilate Ensemble were under the direction of Mro Josef Debrincat.
The choir interpreted other pieces amongst which: the Psalm (Paul Portelli), ‘Allelulia’ (Richard Grech), ‘Ave Verum’ (Mozart), ‘Sanctus’ (Paul Portelli), ‘Agnus Dei’ (Oltrasi), ‘Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring’ (Bach) and finally ‘Exaltabo Te’. At the very end, the Jubilate Ensemble, performed Mendelssohn’s ‘Wedding March’.
