Schola Cantorum Jubilate animated the 11am mass at Our Lady of Loreto Parish Church in Ghajnsielem. Can. Frank Bajada, the Parish Priest, officiated the liturgy which included the baptism of two newborns. One of the babies, Nathan Agius, is the son of a choir member, Jodie. The choir performed: ‘Jesu Rex Admirabilis' (Palestrina), ‘Allelulia' (Taize'), ‘Missier setghani' (Xerri), ‘Qaddis' (Portelli), ‘Ave Verum' (Mozart) and finally ‘Ave Maris Stella' (Perosi). The choir was as usual under the direction of Marouska Attard and accompanied by Mro. Stephen Attard on the church organ.
