At 10.30am, at the Basilica of Maria Bambina, Xagħra, Schola Cantorum Jubilate started carol singing. Fabian Cini and Philip Attard interpreted ‘The Christmas Classics' a medley written by Paul Portelli for organ and sax alto. Then the choir interpreted: ‘Candlelight Carol' (Rutter) and ‘Noel Nouvellet'. At 11am the High Mass started and was officiated by Rev. Fr. Daniel Xerri. The choir interpreted ‘Missa De Angelis' a Quattro voci by Terenzio Zardini. The other hymns were: ‘Adeste Fidelis', ‘Psalm' composed by Paul Portelli and interpreted by Stefan Attard, ‘Allelulia' and Versetto by Portelli, ‘O Holy Night' (Adam) interpreted by Marouska Attard, ‘Nativity Carol' (Rutter) and finally ‘Gloria in cielo' (adpt. M. Frisina). The choir was accompanied by Jean Noel Attard on the organ, except for the psalm which was accompanied by Fabian Cini. During the ‘Credo' the choir interpreted ‘ et incarnates est' from Bartolucci's ‘Missa de Angelis' with the solo part interpreted by Marouska Attard.
