The Basilica of Marija Bambina, Xagħra held a mass in memory of H. L. Bishop Cauchi. This was held at the 11am mass and was animated by Schola Cantorum Jubilate. Mass was officiated by H. L. Mgr. Grech, Bishop of Gozo. Present were relatives of late Mgr. Cauchi and his personal assistant Fr. Renato Borg together with priests from Xagħra. The choir performed Advent hymns since today is the first Sunday of Advent amongst which: ‘Ejja Divin Messija', ‘O Come o Come Emanuel', ‘Alma Redemptoris Mater' (arr. Frisina) and ‘Venite exultemus' (Taize'). Stefan Attard sang the psalm composed by Paul Portelli.
