Today happens to be the 10th anniversary of Schola Cantorum Jubialte's public debut, during the 11am mass at the Basilica of Xaghra. As thanksgiving to the Lord, for the success along the years, a mass was held at the Basilica of Xaghra. It was officiated by Mgr. Carmelo Refalo with co-celebrants Mgr. Eucharist Sultana, Mgr. Renzo Cilia, Rev. Fr. Joseph Bajada and Deacon Simon Cachia, all closely associated to the Schola Cantorum. Parents of the choir members attended for the mass and participated in the liturgy by reading the readings and prayers of the faithful and by bringing the offerings. The choir performed the Missa De Angli by Terenzio Zardini and the hymns: 'Jubilate Deo' (Bartolucci), 'Allelulia' (arr. Frisina), 'O Sacrum Convivium' (Bartolucci), 'Il-Mulej qam mill-imwiet' (Portelli), 'Adoro te devote' (Bartolucci) and finally 'Ave Maris Stella' (Perosi). Organist Joseph Camilleri accompanied the choir on the church organ.

Happy Anniversary to all Members of Schola Cantorum Jubilate!
