Carmen Sultana and Mark Sciberras

le="text-align: justify;">Schola Cantorum Jubilate animated the Wedding Mass of Carmen Sultana and Mark Sciberras at the Basilica of Maria Bambina in Xagħra. Mass started at 5.30pm and was officiated by Can. Joseph Sultana. The Bride was welcomed in church by Marouska Attard who interpreted Gounod's ‘Ave Maria'. The other pieces to follow were: ‘Allelulia' (Taize'), ‘Ave Verum Corpus' (Mozart), ‘Sanctus' (Oltrasi), ‘Il-Mulej qam mill-imwiet' (Portelli), ‘Missierna' (Chant), ‘Agnus Dei' (Oltrasi), ‘Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring' (Bach), ‘Bless the Lord' (Taize') and finally ‘Jubilate Deo' (Portelli). After signing the Marriage registry, members of the Jubilate Chamber Orchestra (Joseph Camilleri - organ, Simon Abdilla - cello and Carmlyn Curmi - flute) who accompanied the choir, interpreted Mendelssohn's ‘Wedding March'.
