The Rev. Rector of Ta' Pinu National Shrine, Rev. Fr. Gerard Buhagiar invited Schola Cantorum Jubilate to animate the 10am High Mass on the occasion of the 75 th Anniversary of the Coronation of the Miraculous Image of Our Lady of Ta' Pinu. Mass was officiated by H. E. Bishop Emeritus Nicholas G. Cauchi. The choir, accompanied by Jean Noel Attard on the Basilca organ, interpreted ‘Missa Cantate Domini' by Oltrasi. The other hymns were: ‘Totus Tuus' (Frisina), Psalm: ‘Is-setgħani għamel miegħi ħwejjeġ kbar' (Portelli) sung by tenor Stefan Attard, ‘Allelulia' (Taize'), ‘Noffrulek Kbir Alla' (Croft) and ‘O Cor Jesu' (Perosi) during the communion by the female section. At the end of the ceremony, Rev. Buhagiar invited those present to join the choir and together sing ‘Salve Regina' (Gregorian Chant). At the end of the celebration, the choir interpreted ‘Innu lill-Madonna ta' Pinu' composed by N. Refalo and arranged by choir's composer P. Portell.
