Marouska Attard was invited to participate during the Notte Gozitana – Lejlet Lapsi. The concert was held at the Renaissance Cloister of St. Augustine’s Friary. She was accompanied by the well-known pianist Sofia Narmania. The concert started at 9pm with a cloister filled with music-lovers who enjoyed an evening of opera arias. Marouska interpreted: ‘Deh Vieni’ (Susanna) and ‘Non so piu cosa son’ and ‘Voi Che sapete’ (Cherubino) from ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’ by Mozart, ‘Batti Batti’ (Zerlina) from ‘Don Giovanni’ by Mozart, ‘Una Donna a quincidi anni’, ‘In Uomini’ (Despina) from ‘Cosi fan tutte’ by Mozart, ‘Piangerò’ and ‘V’adoro, Pupille’ (Cleopatra) from ‘Julius Ceasar’ by Handel, ‘Stizzoso, mio stizzoso’ and ‘A Serpina’ (Serpina) from ‘La Serva Padrona’ by Pergolesi. The concert ended with a Maltese composition ‘L-Għodwa’ by the internationally known Maltese composer Charles Camilleri.
