le="text-align: justify;">Francine Attard and Marvic Cutajar (brother of choister Jodie Agius) invited Schola Cantorum Jubilate to animate their Nuptial Mass. The bride was welcomed at the Basilica of Xagħra by Marouska Attard who interpreted Schubert’s ‘Ave Maria’. Mass started at 5pm and was officiated by Mgr. Arc. Emeritus Eucharist Sultana. The other pieces interpreted by the choir were: ‘Allelulia’ (Taize’), ‘Ave Verum Corpus’ (Mozart), ‘Sanctus’ (Oltrasi), ‘Il-Mulej qam mill-imwiet’ (Portelli), ‘Agnus Dei’ (Oltrasi), ‘Make me a Channel of your peace’ (Temple), ‘Kull tifħir nagħtik’ (Taize’) and finally ‘Jubilate Deo’ (Portelli). The choir was accompanied by members of the Jubilate Chamber Orchestra who played Mendelssohn’s ‘Wedding March’ as recessional.
