le="text-align: justify;">The Lija Local Council together with the Lija Parish presented a concert for Christmastide – ‘Christmas We Sing' at the Old Church of Tas-Salvatur. The concert, part of the 5th Anniversary celebrations, started at 7.00pm and the Schola presented a full program of traditional Christmas Music. The choir was accompanied by Mro. Stephen Attard on the organ, Jean Noel Attard on the violin, Adonai Camilleri Cauchi – percussion, Joseph Buttigieg – tubular bells and Stefan Attard – cymbals and tambourine. Messages were delivered by Rev. Fr. David Gauchi, chaplain and Mrs. Magda Magri Naudi, Lija Mayor. Mr. Joseph Xerri read one of his poems. A collection of money was held at the end of the concert for the victims of Tsunami in South Asia. The sum amounted to Lm186.00.
