Schola Cantorum Jubilate was responsible of the choral service during the wedding ceremony of Mary Rose Bonello and Ian Attard. The bride was welcomed in St. George's Basilica in Victoria , by an ‘Ave Maria' at around 5pm. The Gozitan Soprano Georgina Gauci interpreted Gounod's composition. The Jesuit Rev. Fr. Paul Zammit S.J. officiated the liturgy. The other pieces interpreted were: ‘Allelulia' (Taize'), ‘Eat this bread' (Taize'), ‘Il-Mulej qam mill-imwiet' (Portelli), ‘Agnus Dei' (Oltrasi), ‘Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring' (Bach) and ‘Jubilate' (Portelli). The choir was conducted by Mro. Paul Portelli in absence of its director Marouska Attard. Presently Ms. Attard is in Ambleside, Lake District , England for Master Classes in voice technique. The choir was accompanied by musicians from the Jubilate Chamber Orchestra - Dr. Joseph Camilleri (Organist), Charlene Caruana (violinist) and George Camilleri (flutist).
