le="text-align: justify;">On Easter Day, mass is celebrated with great solemnity since it is the greatest feast for the Roman Catholic Church. Schola Cantorum Jubilate animated the 11am mass at the Basilica of Marija Bambina of Xaghra. Mgr. Carmelo Refalo led the ceremony which included the baptism of John Gatt. Mr o. Stephen Attard accompanied the choir on the Church organ. The choir performed the ‘Gloria' (Oltrasi), ‘O Christe Sol Paschalis', ‘Allelulia Christus Resurrexit' (Taize'), ‘L-ikel tal-Hajja' (Holst), ‘Sanctus' (Oltrasi), ‘Io Sono Risorto' (Liberto), ‘Ir-Rghaj u s-Sid Tieghi' and finally ‘Regina Coeli' by Bartolucci who some years ago was maestro di cappella at the Sistine Chapel.
