After having breakfast, the Choir members took a walking tour around the center of Firenze. They visited the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and passed by the river Arno and Ponte Vecchio. Later in the morning, they left Firenze and took the train to Livorno. From the Harbor of Livorno, they took the Corsica Ferry for Bastia, Corsica. The journey took four hours and it was a pleasant trip since the sea was calm and they had the opportunity to admire the islands of Elba and Capraia. On arriving in Bastia, they found Henri, one of the festival organizers and Ang, the driver waiting for them. They took the Choir members to the bungalows in Igelsa – a summer resort with a surrounding private beach and a horse riding area. Later in the evening, the group was taken for dinner in the city center where they met some Egyptian Musicians with whom they, immediately, made friends. At the restaurant they were asked to sing some folk and popular Maltese songs.
