le="text-align: justify;">Schola Cantorum Jubilate was invited to animate the funeral mass of Joseph Xerri, uncle of chorister Jodie Agius. The presente cadavere mass started at 5.30pm at the Basilica of Xagħra and was officiated by Mgr. Carmelo Refalo, Archpriest. For the introit of mass, Marouska Attard interpreted Fauré’s ‘Pie Jesu’. The choir performed the Missa Pro Defunctis (Gregorian) and ‘Allelulia’ (Taizè), ‘O Bone Jesu’ (Palestrina), ‘O Salutaris Hostia’ (Bartolucci) and finally the moving ‘The Lord Bless you and keep you’ (Rutter). Jean Noel Attard accompanied the choir on the organ.
