Schola Cantorum Jubilate animated the liturgy during the Baptism mass of Joseph Portelli (son of soprano Dianne Angie Portelli Galea). Mass started at 11am and was officiated by Mgr. Arc. Carmelo Refalo at the Basilica of Maria Bambina in Xagħra. The choir performed: ‘Surrexit Christus' (Taizè), Paschal Alleluia, ‘L-ikel tal-Ħajja (Holst), ‘Qaddis' (Portelli), ‘Il-Muelj qam mill-imwiet' (Portelli) and ‘Eat this bread' (Taizè) and ‘Bless the Lord' (Taizè) and finally ‘Fil-Ħlewwa ta' Mejju' (arr. Buhagiar). Jacob Portelli improvised on the violin during the hymns.
