The Schola Cantorum performed in the churches of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, the Basilica of Saint Mark, the Basilica of Saint Anthony in Padua and the church of Nostra Signora della Pietà.

During the tour the Schola Cantorum Jubilate assisted to the masses celebrated at the above mentioned churches in Padua and Venice and also sang a number of musical pieces which span from the Baroque to the more contemporary sacred music. The repertoire included pieces by Palestrina, Tallis, Byrd, Viadana, Bartolucci, Gabrieli, Caruana and Portelli amongst others. Many local people and tourists alike were attracted to the vibrant and skilful performance of the choir. The Schola Cantorum Jubilate choristers also took the opportunity to visit the renowned and recently restored La Fenice theatre and other historical musically related landmarks in the Veneto Region including the tomb of one of the leading Venetian baroque composers, Claudio Monteverdi and the Church of the violinist Antonio Vivaldi.

This tour was under the patronage of the Maltese Embassy in Italy and with the collaboration of the Malta Tourism Authority.
