After so many events marking the fifth anniversary, Schola Cantorum Jubilate held a thanksgiving mass on the day of anniversary. The mass started at 11.00am and was celebrated by Mons. Carmelo Refalo, Archpriest of Xaghra together with Mons. Eucharist Sultana, Can. Julian Refalo Rapa, Can. Joseph Sultana, Rev. Alex Refalo, Rev. Jesmond Gauci and Rev. Dominic Sultana. For this unique occasion, the Choir performed the ‘Missa De Angelis' for four voices by Terenzio Zardini. This mass used to be sung by the Schola Cantorum Romana (Vatican). The other hymns were: ‘Jubilate Deo' by Paul Portelli, ‘Allelulia' by Gabrieli, ‘Totus Tuus' by Frisina, ‘Panis Angelicus' by Franck with the solo part interpreted by Claire Massa and finally ‘Ave Maria' by Alcadelt. Mro. Stephen Attard accompanied the choir on the church organ. Present for the mass were the parents, relatives and friends of the choir members. Later, all headed for lunch at Gozo's most prestigious restaurant Ta' Frenc in Marsalforn. The choir members and guests had a great lunch and enjoyed the piano playing by Mro. Stephen Attard.
