Today the village of Xaghra saw the revival of the group of Scouts. For the 11am mass, the new group of Scouts together with other local scout groups filled the Basilica of Marija Bambina. Mass was officiated by the Chaplin of the Xaghra Scouts – Mgr. Arc. Carmelo Refalo. The choir performed ‘Laudate Omnes Gentes' (Taize'), ‘Allelulia' (Taize'), ‘L-ikel tal-gurnata' (Portelli), ‘Qaddis' (Portelli), ‘O Sacrum Convivium' (Batolucci) and finally ‘Fil-Hlewwa ta' Mejju' (arr. Buhagiar). All pieces were performed in SATB and a cappella .
