Today the members of Schola Cantorum Jubilate crossed the Fliegu and reached the Church of St. Mary of Angels in Bahar ic-Caghaq. At 11.30 am, Rev. Arc. Joe Zammit celebrated a thanksgiving mass for the wedding silver jubilee of Mariella and Paul Mizzi. The Mizzi couple is great friends, and the official photographers of Schola Cantorum Jubilate. They are also their official photographers. The couple was greeted in church by Marouska Attard who interpreted ‘Ave Maria' by Caccini. The other hymns performed were: ‘Allelulia' (arr. Frisina), ‘Ave Verum' (Mozart), ‘Sanctus' (Oltrasi), ‘Amen' (Vatican Edition), ‘Agnus Dei' (Oltrasi), ‘Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring' (Bach) and finally ‘Regina Coeli' (Bartolucci). Dr. Joseph Camilleri accompanied the choir on the church organ.
