Schola Cantorum Jubilate animated the presente cadavere mass of Helen Attard (grandmother of Bernadine Attard – soprano) at the Basilica of Maria Bambina, Xaghra. The mass started at 4.15pm and was officiated by Mgr. Arc. Carmelo Refalo. The choir performed the gregorian Missa Pro Defunctis and the hymns: ‘Miserere' (Lotti), ‘Glorja u Tifhir lilek Kristu' (Portelli), ‘O Domine Jesu Christe' (Palestrina), ‘O Ras Ta' Kristu Mbierka' (Bach) and the soprano and director Marouska Attard performed the ‘Pie Jesu' (Faure´). Mro. Paul Portelli accompanied the choir on the church organ.
