le="text-align: justify;">Schola Cantorum Jubilate animated the Wedding Mass of Janice Xerri and Christopher Grech at the Basilica of Marija Bambina in Xaghra. The bride arrived at the Basilica at 5.15pm and was welcomed by Marouska Attard who interpreted Gounod's ‘Ave Maria'. The mass was officiated by Mgr. Carmelo Refalo, Archpriest of the Basilica. The other pieces performed were: ‘Allelulia' (Taize'), ‘Ave Verum Corpus' (Mozart), ‘Sanctus' (Oltrasi), ‘Il-Mulej qam mill-imwiet' (Portelli) ‘Missierna' (Gregorian), ‘Agnus Dei' (Oltrasi), ‘Panis Angelicus' (Franck) with the solo part sung by the director Marouska Attard, ‘Eat this Bread' (Taize') and ‘Jubilate Deo' (Portelli). The choir was accompanied by Joseph Camilleri on the church organ who played also various organ pieces amongst which the Mendelssohn's ‘Wedding March'.
