After the 11am mass, the choristers, decided to go out for lunch together and bid farewell to Sephora Zammit who will be leaving Malta and starting a new adventure in the UK.
Good luck to our dear Sephora!
Though this summer is not as harsh as previous ones, the choristers still decided to hold their annual boat trip around the islands of Gozo and Comino.
The weather was not so inviting but the sailors still found the courage to spend the day on board of the Galaxy with Captain Adrian.
SCJ kept its annual appointment and organised a BBQ at Marsalforn. Apart from the good food and company, they celebrated the brides-to-be – Sephora Galea and Marouska Attard. A delicious cake that was professionally and artistically decorated by Leanne Attard served as a dessert to complete the evening.
This was another social gathering which gives spaces to more personal relationships which eventually strengthen the group.
Anyone who speaks can sing... In other words singing is for everyone. This is the reason why SCJ is opening up its rehearsal doors for anyone who wants to give singing a try in a fun and exciting environment... You will learn vital life skills that help in becoming a better individual: you will learn how to listen and sing 'in tune' with those around you, laser-sharp your focus and concentration, discipline, experience the reward of hard work and above all learn how to master the universal world of music.
So if you want to do something good to yourself this summer contact us on info@scjchoir.com or leave us a message on our facebook page (Schola Cantorum Jubilate Choir).
