Yes, happy anniversary for fourteen years together.

In fact the official launching of Schola Cantorum Jubilate happened on Sunday 20th August 2000 at the Basilica of Maria Bambina in Xagħra, Gozo.
The Gozo Cathedral bells rang joyfully as Maria Zammit and Mario Reno Cauchi joined in matrimony.
Mass started at 5.30pm and was officiated by Fr. Joseph Bajada, cousin of the groom. The bride was welcomed in church on Schubert’s notes of the ‘Ave Maria’ interepreted by Marouska Attard.
The choir, accompanied by Jean Noel Attard on the organ, performed: ‘Allelulia’ (Taize’), ‘Panis Angelicus’ (Franck), ‘Santus’ and ‘Agnus Dei’ (Oltrasi), ‘Make me a Channel of your peace’ (Temple) and finally ‘Exaltabo Te’ (Taize’).
Congratulations to the new couple.
Summer brings around many outdoor activities and encounters. Schola Cantorum Jubilate during the past month had various occasions to spend some time together.
During the past week, Schola Cantorum Jubilate hosted the University of London Chamber choir composed of 25 students and ex-students from the University of London. The choir is under the direction of Mro. Colin Durrant.
