Schola Cantorum Jubilate was very excited that the day had finally arrived. A very dear member of the choir, Dianne Attard was to unite in marriage to Joseph Bartolo. Preparations for the Nuptial Ceremony were held way before so that the couple, together with their families and friends could hold dear this God-sent blessing for their entire lives. By virtue of this, Schola Cantorum Jubilate played a very active part in this Ceremony held at Saint George’s Basilica in Victoria. The wedding mass started at 5.00 pm.
Schola Cantorum Jubilate was invited by Mgr. Archpriest and the Reverend Chapter of the Basilica of Xagħra to animate the ‘Te Deum Mass’ on the occasion of the Patron Saint Feast.
Schola Cantorum Jubilate was invited by Daniela and Victor Said to animate the Baptism ceremony of their newborn Jake. It happend to be also the fifth day of novena mass for children. In fact Deacon Daniel Sultana together with some young actors featured the story of Esther the Queen who managed to save the Jews.
Delicious food, good wine, mouth-watering chocolate cake, good company and music in the air... what else does one need for a special evening on a hot summer day? Schola Cantorum Jubilate kept its annual appointment and held a barbeque at Marsalforn.
Schola Cantorum Jubilate received an unexpected reward – the Golden Palm Award. This award is given annually by San Lawrenz Parish to the musician or organisation which along the year succeeded in its achievements.
