It’s summer! What do you hear calling you? A nice relaxing day by the beach! Or well, why not spending a day round the glorious island of Gozo? This day is long sought for by the choristers of Schola Cantorum Jubilate and they plan it long way ahead so as to avoid missing it. You’d say it’s easy to join a group of friends and hire a boat for a day. True! But spending a day together as a whole group is beyond meaning. The element of friendship and bond between each chorister is immediately felt. Everyone was very excited and there were cheers every time small groups of choristers were going on the boat.
Schola Cantorum Jubilate animated the Wedding Mass of Christine Xerri and Savio Fiteni. The Nuptial Mass started at 5.30pm at the Basilica of Maria Bambina, Xagħra and was officiated by Mgr. George Farrugia. Mgr. Archpriest Carmelo Refalo administered the wedding rite and Mgr. Joe Vella Gauci delivered the homily.
