The Schola Cantorum Jubilate Family Meeting

by Schola Cantorum Jubilate

One of the Schola Cantorum Jubilate's customs is to hold a meeting for the choristers and their families. This year's meeting started with a mass at St. Augustine's Church in Victoria which was officiated by Rev. Fr. Joseph Bajada. Later some refreshments were served and all had the chance to socialise and talk together. Parents of new members had the opportunity to meet for the first time with the rest of group. Like all the other functions the choir is responsible of, this get-together is important for it strengthens the sense of familiarity and collegiality that really exists on personal basis and which is later shown in the output produced in singing. The highlight of the talking was the forthcoming concert 'Crucifixus' for which the choir is busily rehearsing. This concert will be held within a month.
