For another consecutive year, SCJ animated the High Mass in commemoration of the Great Sieges of Malta. High dignitaries were invited for this mass amongst whom Hon. Dr. Justyne Caruana, Minister for Gozo and the Mayor and Councillors of Xagħra. This High Mass was officiated by H.E. Bishop George Bugeja together with other priests hailing from Xagħra. The choir was under the direction of Marouska Attard and accompanied by Ronald Camilleri on the church organ.

SCJ sang High Mass at the Basilica of Maria Bambina in Xagħra. This thanksgiving mass was held to inagurate the restoration and conservation works on the artistic statue of Our Lady. The choir was accompanied by Joseph Camilleri on the organ and directed by Marouska Attard.

Sonia Curmi and Joseph Grima chose the Saturday closest to the feast of the Assumption to celebrate their wedding day. They asked Schola Cantorum Jubilate to join them for their special celebration.

As Rosaline Caruana and Jamie Curmi started planning their special day, they ask Schola Cantorum Jubilate to animate their Nuptial Mass. It was officiated by the groom’s uncle Can. Carmel Curmi at the National Shrine of Ta’ Pinu at 4.30pm. The choir was under the direction of Marouska Attard and was accompanied on the harp by Jacob Portelli together with violinists Pierre Louis Attard and Kathryn Mizzi and cellist Frank Camilleri.
